About US

Cidney’s legacy is one of compassion, hope and charity.

Cidney’s Opportunity was founded by Zoe Campbell, mother of Cidney Madison Campbell, for whom the foundation is named. Cidney had struggled with depression starting in her preadolescent years. The hurdles we faced over the years began with inaccurate diagnosis’ which led us to treat conditions that were not present. Time nor resources were on our side. The financial burden just to accurately diagnose her was tremendous. The treatment process to follow was just as horrendous. Financial hurdles and efficacy of treatments & medications, prescribed over time, tried our faith in behavioral health science and government support and availability of resources.

Cidney’s legacy is one of compassion, hope and charity. In her honor, Zoe Campbell is committed to making a difference for other families, ensuring that our youth and young adults are not denied mental health care due to financial limitations. Through this foundation we honor her by making a lasting impact on the lives of others in need.
